Big Time Rush (abbreviated as BTR) is a Nickelodeon television series created by Scott Fellows which was released officially on January 18, 2010, and a sneak peak (early) was filed on November 28, 2009 in the United States. The two-part pilot episode was released April 15, 2010 in Latin America and the August 19, 2010 in Spain. Because of the way of promoting the series was played by Nickelodeon audience that it was a TV movie. The series was created by executive producer and television writer Scott Fellows of Nickelodeon, who also devised the comedy School Survival Guide Ned. The pilot of one-hour episode, "Big Time Audition" aired as an "advance" on November 28, 2009, but began airing in a regular series on January 18, 2010 at 8:30 pm ET with the episode "Big Time School of Rocque" ", being the most watched episode of the series with a total of 6.8 million viewers The series follows the misadventures that happen to four hockey players in Minnesota, James, Kendall, Carlos and Logan who are selected to form a band. Currently, the show takes its second season in both Latin America and Spain. On May 24, 2011 was announced a third season for the series, whose recordings are planned to start in January 2012.

Francis Kendall Schmidt (born November 2, 1990) is an actor, singer and dancer U.S..It is known for playing the character of Kendall Knight in the TV series Big Time Rush of the Nickelodeon television network and be band member of the same name.  In his acting career has played several roles in series such as ER, Without a Trace, Phil of the Future, Ghost Whisperer and Frasier.

Phillip Logan Henderson (North Richland Hills, Texas, USA, September 14, 1989) is an actor, dancer and singer. It is known artistically for playing Logan Mitchell in the Nickelodeon series, Big Time Rush and a member of the band of the same name.
